Val Popovic as "The Resident of Jendell"

What sets Val Popovic apart from other "Aces" is the passion and undying dedication to replicating the classic Frehley experience. "I've always been a huge Ace fan. He's a guitar legend, and I go to sleep every night thankful have the opportunity to play his role onstage for die hard KISS fans everywhere."

The Chicago native played in original /hard rock cover and top 40 bands before he hooked up with Kiss Army. When he first jammed on "Deuce" with his newfound mates, he knew he was destined to play Ace onstage. "people would tell me my voice and solo's were dead on, and if I sounded that good, Ace must have sounded incredible. That's a tremendous compliment. Ace is one of the greatest guitar players ever, and I'm just glad to pay homage to him."

Popovic said he "flipped" at the chance to play Ace in a touring tribute band. "I grew up loving all of Ace's solo's, and always tried to sing like him." He says playing with the Kiss Army tribute is great because of their professionalism, musicianship, and dedication to authenticity. "Being in an established KISS tribute is terrific. I'm playing some of the greatest rock and roll music ever done."
